Harry Styles: Fine Line

Harry Styles, British singer and former member of the boy band, One Direction, has announced the release date for his second solo album. His first album was released on May 12, 2017, and his new album, Fine Line, his scheduled for December 13, 2019. So far, he has released two of the songs that are going to be on the album, called Lights Up and Watermelon Sugar. As a huge fan of Harry Styles, every announcement or post he makes is very exciting. During the past two years, he has almost stayed "undercover" by not doing anything on social media or even out in the public. The only time the fans got to see anything of what he was doing is when he was spotted out in public and people took photos with him. This created a large amount of anticipation within all of the fans, wondering when and what he was going to do next. This could have been for publicity because even though he still hasn't released his album yet, I still spent a lot of money on tour tickets. Also, people who were not fans during his first album, have increased how many listeners he has. His new songs have differed from his first album, where there was both sad soft rock, and fast soft rock, while these new songs have been mainly pop. While I still love his new songs, I really hope that on his album there is some fast soft rock that my friends and I can go crazy to. His music brings my friends and I together because we all love him and are able to experience his tour, interviews, and skits. Image result for fine line harry styles

My Relationship with Media

What is my relationship with media? Media is different forms of communication, using things like music, television, newspapers, or magazines. I see media every single day at the first time of my day, to the very end. I am able to bring my phone everywhere with me, which is just a pocket-sized form of media. So, I often find myself being "addicted" to media. At any time I can go on my phone to look at or use any type of media. Then, even when I turn off my phone, it still surrounds me in forms of videos in my classes, on the radio in the car, or on the TV at home. The types of media I find myself using or appreciating most are music, television shows, movies, and social media, like YouTube. I can have music playing at any time that I like, and it's able to fit whatever scenario it needs to fit. I often listen to it in between classes, in the car, doing homework, with friends, at a party, or just by myself. I no longer watch much cable TV and mainly use Netflix to stream shows that either no longer air or that are only on Netflix. I watch these shows when I am bored and would appreciate either a good laugh or even cry. Both new and old movies are a way that I can spend time with my friends or family. Social media is my "addiction", I am always on it and it is a way for me to procrastinate or just scroll. So, while I have a good relationship with media, and thoroughly enjoy using it, I often find myself being addicted to looking at or using it.
